Jaxon. I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. The way you spoke about him in our dialog this week inspired me and really got me thinking. You shared all the ways you learned from him. You said how he would dress up for you, talk to you, teach you, and this got me thinking about all the things I’ve learned from you.
You came into my life when I was 15 years old. I had just recently tried to take my life at that time, and you gave me a reason to live and be hopeful about the future. I am now 23, and you have given me all the tools I need to be successful, and not only that but all the tools I need to be a happy and healthy young adult in the messed up world we live in.
You and my parents have partnered together to teach me, and guide me to success. We see you as part of our family, and we do not take this lightly.
So, Jaxon, I wrote a song for you and my father, the two most important men in my life, about all the things I learned from you and you both raised me into who I am to
