Brutal knife attack: Man fatally stabbed for designer watch in central London

A music manager was stabbed to death for a designer watch worth up to £300,000 after celebrating his birthday, a court has heard.

Emmanuel Odunlami, 32, was set upon by three robbers after leaving Haz restaurant near St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London on May 1 2022, the Old Bailey heard.

Jordell Menzies, aged 27, of Tennyson Road, Brent, was convicted of murder on 20 December 2023.

Three other associates were convicted of manslaughter and robbery at earlier trial. Quincy Ffrench, aged 28, Louis Vandrose, aged 28, Kavindu Hettiarachchi aka Brown Lankan, 31.
