Track 7 from their self-titled debut album released in 1972 copyright Daffodil Records. The band was formed in Toronto in 1971 by members of three local bands. Their only hit “(Make Me Do) Anything You Want” reached No. 33 on the Canadian chart. The vocals and organ remind me of Deep Purple and the guitar and tight rhythm section make me think of Mountain, both from the same era. Written by Alex Machin & Paul Naumann and produced by Frank Davies. RIP Paul Naumann. Featuring:
Alex Machin – Lead vocals
Paul Naumann – Lead, slide, rhythm & acoustic guitars, bass & string arrangements
Bob Horne – Hammond B-3 organ & clavinet
Hughie Leggat – Bass, acoustic guitar & background vocals
Danny Taylor – Drums, percussion & background vocals
My castle walls around me stand, I feel I'm just a fallen man
My body's drained from the battles raged, I'm sure I can't go on
Twas just today the sun felt too warm or was that just last week?
Oh, my frien
