China has been investing heavily in its semiconductor industry, with the goal of becoming a major player in the global market. One of the key parts of this strategy is the development of its own microchips.
Enter the Yitian 710, a microchip that was developed by the Chinese tech firm Phytium, and was first introduced in 2016.
What sets the Yitian 710 apart is its high level of performance. It is designed for use in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications, and has been compared to similar chips from Intel and AMD.
