Argentina’s right-wing populist Javier Milei, who sometimes carried a revving chainsaw at rallies, won Argentina's runoff presidential election in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nov. 19, 2023.

Milei said Sunday that Argentina's situation is "critical" and he promised to make "drastic" changes once he takes over the presidency of the third-largest economy in Latin America.
